Crematorium, Brentwood

A new crematorium was built in Bentley, Brentwood. Oak View Landscapes were contracted to carry out extensive top soiling works and to install the soft landscaping: tree and shrub planting; seeding; turfing and bark mulching.

Academy School, Ilford

The grounds to a new school constructed by Skanska were installed by Oak View Landscapes. This was a complex project due to land contamination issues and environment agency conditions. Semi mature trees upto 50cm girth were planted many of the trees were planted in complex tanked tree pits with strata cells. Oak View were responsible for the top soiling planting, seeding, turfing, mulching, installation of tree grilles, a jetty, aquatic planting and raised timber planters.

Balls Park, Hertford

Explore Living South East required a communal garden with a leafy outlook into the courtyard from the adjacent apartments. Designed by Liz Lake Associates, Oak View installed a scheme which had a fountain as a focal point, curved paved seats, topiary hedging, herbaceous planting, magnolia trees and lighting to highlight the fountain and trees. The project won a hard landscape construction award at the National BALI Awards 2010.
