Paul Downer

Paul founded Oak View Landscapes in 2004. He has built a team of highly respected professional staff who share his passion for quality landscape installation whilst working for a market leading, award winning company. Paul has over 30 years of experience within the landscaping industry after graduating from Writtle University College in 1989.

As well as leading Oak View, Paul performs an active role within the industry sector. He is a Director of BALI, a previous National Chairman from 2016-18 and recently he served as a Board Governor at Writtle University College for several years. He also plays a key active role as an industry charity fundraiser and is a BALI GoLandscape Ambassador and Trustee of the BALI Chalk Fund.

Outside of work Paul’s number one passion (after his family!) is Leeds United. As a home and away season ticket holder he’s enjoyed their return to the Premiership after a 16 year absence.
